Here is what’s happening in our community this coming week!
Friday
Northwood Homecoming, 7-9pm: The football team will play against East Chapel Hill High, followed by the homecoming dance until 11:45pm. This game, Northwood will be announcing the winners of the homecoming court and celebrating Northwood class of 1989 and 2009.
Saturday
10th annual Monster Dash, 8-11am: beginning and ending at Pittsboro Elementary School including a 5K, 10K and 1 Mile run in downtown Pittsboro.
Sunday
Fall Farm Festival at Celebrity Dairy, 2-5pm: The celebration includes; hayrides, lawn games, arts & crafts, farm goods and snacks for sale at the Inn along with a raffle for a one night stay or farm dinner for two.
Monday
Northwood High School JV Boys Soccer vs Chapel Hill High School, Home, 5pm
Northwood High School V Boys Soccer vs Chapel Hill High School, Home, 6:45pm
Tuesday
Documentary Film Screening at Chatham Community Library, 6:30-8pm: As part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, there will be a screening of the documentary film; Private Violence, in the Holmes Meeting Room.
Wednesday
Bob Ross Workshop, 3:30pm: Art Honor Society will be hosting painting workshops while simultaneously screening Bob Ross videos. This will be the first out of six workshop days. Admission is ten dollars for a total of six workshops.
Thursday
Northwood High School JV Boys Football vs Southern High School, Home, 6-8pm.
Opening Night of “The Crucible”, the Northwood auditorium, 7pm.
